“Now learn the parable of the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near; so you too, when you see all these things, recognize that He is near, right at the door.” (Matthew 24:32-33)
Damascus, Syria. Names that ring out through history. It is one of the world’s oldest continuously inhabited cities. Today it is a failed state. It is in the middle of the world’s crisis.
Israel, Turkey, Iran, Russia, and America are all pulling and pushing Syria, jostling for political, economic, and military gains.
Syria is a modern day powder keg.
I thank the Lord that in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, I’m going home!
