Revelation 1:3 (NASB) “Blessed is he who reads and who hears the words of the prophesy and heed the things which are written in it (Revelation); for the time is near.”
We have all been controlled by time. We have hurriedly glanced at our clocks. We’ve asked others, “What time is it?” Time seems to direct so much of our lives. It’s a constant force.
As we look at Israel, Jerusalem, and the temple mount, those who are enlightened by the Word of God realize the time is near. There is more talk of a rebuilt temple in Jerusalem than any time in the last seventy years.
There is more international involvement in the desire to control the temple mount area in Jerusalem than ever.
The times seem to be pushing world powers toward the days prophesied in the Word of God.
Zechariah 12:1-3 (NASB) The burden of the word of the Lord concerning Israel.
Thus declares the LORD who stretches out the heavens, lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him, “Behold, I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that causes reeling to all the peoples around; and when the siege is against Jerusalem, it will also be against Judah. It will come about in that day that I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples; all who lift it will be severely injured. And all the nations of the earth will be gathered against it…”
The clock is ticking!
