Ezekiel 36:24 (In the last days) “I will take you from the nations, gather you from the lands and bring you into your own land.”
Some people ask how Noah got all the animals to go into the ark. He didn’t. God called them and they responded by entering the ark. The Jewish people have not been coerced into coming back to Israel. God is calling them back into the land. Many Jewish families have left their developed nations (including America and Canada) and returned to live in Israel. One recent example: Joe Lieberman’s daughter, her husband, and their children left America to make their home in Israel.
Many have given up their cushy existence for a more difficult life in the foothills and valleys of their ancient forefathers, a target for the surrounding countries hatred and anger.
Out of the pages of the Bible comes the headlines of today. We see the miraculous fulfillment of Bible prophesy. Christians are able to see the work of the Lord in the land of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. We can see the footsteps of Jesus and the truths of His word. We can see hope.
The Jewish national anthem is called “The Hope”.
Hatikvah: As long as deep in the heart, the soul of a Jew yearns, and towards the East an eye looks to Zion, our hope is not yet lost, the hope of two thousand years, to be a free people in our land, the land of Zion and Jerusalem.
