God’s children are “…the children of the promise”. Romans 9:8 (NASB)
Noah is an example of strong faith in God’s promises. Genesis 7:5 “Noah did according to all that the Lord commanded him to do.” Noah never hesitated or let any worldly persuasion sway him from staying on the course God set for him. And, just as God promised, a worldwide flood came and destroyed all of the living except Noah and his family.
Noah remained faithful to the promise through all the years of struggle and heartache. The slander and ridicule of those around him were heartbreaking and agonizing, but Noah remained faithful and continued to build the ark as God had told him to do. Even though it had never rained before.
The flood came and destroyed all living on the earth but those in the ark.
Genesis 8:1 But God remembered Noah and all the beasts and all the cattle that were with him, and God caused a wind to pass over the earth, and the water subsided.
God remembered Noah, and He will not forget His promises to you.
