(Correction to blog: Should have been Psalm 25:12)
Psalm 25:12 “Who is the man who fears the Lord? He will instruct him in the way he should choose.”
Life is a continuous chain of decisions, some of which are irreversible. That is why we need divine guidance. So many times our present circumstances are the result of past choices, and our future is determined by the decisions we make today.
With so much at stake, we desperately need God’s wisdom to direct us. You can’t hear from the Lord if you’re tolerating sin in your life. Sin clouds your mind like fog obstructs the view of your pathway. Our very first step should be to clear our path to God.
The Lord desires our submission to His guidance.
May we, as David said in Psalm 25:4, “Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths.”
