Roy’s Blog: “End of Pain”

Mark 5:28-29   For she thought, “If I just touch His garments, I will get well.” Immediately the flow of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of her affliction.

You see lost hope in so many eyes. Broken by illness, they have gone to doctor after doctor and have lost all hope in getting help for their despair. Friends wish them well but can do nothing. Their family is at a loss to help them.

This woman searched for twelve years for help. She spent all the money she had. She was shunned by their society as unclean. Even her family could not bring her comfort. There was no place she was welcome.

She was at the end of her rope. But one touch, in faith, changed her life. She became whole again.

One touch, in true faith, can still change everything.

  1. Yes! Amen to caring & actually listening with compassion to someone who has been in pain. Could they be drawn to some loving kindness like Jesus does for us? Father help us to see how You give out Your hopeful love.
