Roy’s Blog: “Cards and Chips”

Revelation 13:17 “No one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark…the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”

Technology has changed everything from our view into the depths of the sea to the exploration of the far reaches of space. More and more we are faced with new methods to replace the use of checks and cash. Now you buy with a card, whether debit or credit. You pay through a cellphone, straight from your bank to theirs. Cashless stores and restaurants are becoming commonplace.

Another form of payment–chips. There is another push to get individuals and companies to place a chip under the skin of employees. This “chip” is smaller than a grain of rice but holds all a person needs to buy and sell. It can hold medical records, all your credit history, just about anything. Sounds like a good idea? Of course. Why would anyone do it if it sounded painful or more of a burden than carrying around (keeping up with) a card? Satan wants it to sound attractive.

The implant could give access to locked doors, entry to your car or computer. Keep up with your children.

The trouble with it is someone, somewhere is keeping up with all this data. They can track who you are, where you are, how much money you have, even every keystroke you make on your computer. That someone can also stop your access to anything at any time.

Don’t think it could never happen in America. There is a company in a northeastern state already trying it out. We’re not talking about Sweden, which is using this technology. We’re talking about an American state. They’ve already tried it on some in our military. Once enough people go for the idea, it will either be made mandatory, or, credit cards and debit cards will phase out of existence like cash and checks are beginning to now. Then you will have to choose.

It will be just as the Bible said in Revelation 13:17.
