Luke 1:37 (ESV) “For nothing will be impossible with God.”

The raising of Lazarus seemed impossible to the crowd gathered at the home of Martha and Mary. After the death of their brother Lazarus, Jesus came to their house (where he had stayed many times before) and asked to be taken to where Lazarus was placed. Jesus was aware that Lazarus had been dead for several days. he was aware of the broken hearts of Martha and Mary, but that day Jesus changed their tears and broken hearts to excitement and joy at the glorious resurrecting of their dear brother from the dead.

From heartache to unspeakable joy!

We all face heartache, sorrow, pain, and brokenness living in this fallen world. But it is wonderful to live with the hope we have in Jesus Christ. Nothing is impossible with God.

There is no trial that there is no hope. There is no day so dark the light of Jesus can’t shine through. There is no tear that He can’t wipe away.
