Proverbs 3:5 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding.”
Jesus said many times, “Don’t worry.” Luke 12:22-23 “…I tell you not to worry about your everyday life–whether you have enough food to eat or enough clothes to wear. For life is more than food, and your body more than clothing.”
People live their lives so anxious today. In spite of all the medical advancements and our own material wealth, we are the most anxious generation in American history. Most worries don’t go un-named, unidentified or un-cataloged. Many are medicated–just not relieved.
Worry is a failure to understand God’s love and purpose for our lives. You are God’s masterpiece. He custom designed you. He is going to take care of you. Worry is sin because it shows we don’t trust God in all situations. Many times He is not our first choice but our last resort. Before you put a foot out of bed before you make any decision, go to God first. Learn to trust–and obey.
