Hebrews 11:27 (NIV) “He endured because he saw Him who is invisible.”
Hebrews 11 is about winners. It’s God’s Hall of Fame. They were ordinary people who accomplished extraordinary achievements.
One of them was Moses. He received the Ten Commandments from God. He penned the first five books of the Bible. He led the children of Israel out of captivity and slavery in Egypt.
God was able to use Moses effectively because Moses understood who he was. There is nobody who can be you except–you. Moses made the decision to be true to who he was. He also accepted responsibility for his own life. He chose God. Not the easy way or the popular way at the time, but God’s way.
And he never took his eyes off the goal: to please God.
