Psalm 39:8 “Deliver me from all my transgressions.”
We all make mistakes. Seldom do we want to admit them. Sometimes God has to rearrange our plans to get us to listen. God speaks to us all the time, but He shouts to us in our troubles.
I have watched as people dig themselves deeper and deeper into a pit of heartache and sorrow until they hit bottom. Then, there was only one way they could look–up. They wouldn’t listen to the Lord before, but when in they pit, they would cry out for help.
I am so thankful that the Lord loves us and forgives us for not listening the first (or second, or third) time. He will answer our cry and bring us up from the pit we dug for ourselves. God loves us and wants to give us good things, an abundant happy life.
Psalm 46:1 “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”
