I Timothy 4:1 “But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons.”
The Bible has warned over and over again the danger of apostasy (falling away) in later times. Many will fall from the faith.
Not even in our wildest dreams could we have ever imagined the extent of the falling away from God’s truth that is occurring in our country. It’s happening even in what was always considered the “Bible Belt” of the United States. In a new poll over 50 percent of pastors in America are afraid to preach moral Biblical issues, or God’s truths about true transformed lives. They “tickle ears” to keep from upsetting anyone.
Pastors who do not preach the full gospel of Jesus Christ, including Revelation, will be held accountable for those who have been led astray. Their mission isn’t to please people. Their mission is to please God by extolling the Good News of Jesus Christ to anyone who will listen.
To those professing to be Christian, who have fallen away after believing the lies and deception of the evil one, and who have wandered away from the truth and led others to do the same: Look up, your redemption draws near.
Revelation 13:12 “The night is nearly over, the day has drawn near. So let us lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.”
Revelation 3:11 “I am coming soon. Hold fast to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
