Roy’s Blog: “The Third Day”

https://bphowlett.com/2019/05/17/roys-blog-the-third-day

John 2:1 “The third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee.”

The marriage in Cana of Galilee was Jesus first miracle. It was on the third day (the third day after He arrived in Galilee). The third day is known as a day of double blessing. The Jewish wedding celebration lasted for seven days. The preferred day for the wedding ceremony was on the third day–the day of double blessing.

If you want to understand what God will do in the future, look at what He has done in the past. God doesn’t want you to live in ignorance. He has always wanted His people to understand His actions. Amos 3:7 “Surely the Lord God does nothing unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.”

Hosea 6:2 “…in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.”

We are near the dawn of the third day. We are going to the marriage feast of the Lamb.
