Genesis 6:9 (NASB) “Noah was a righteousness man, blameless in his time; Noah walked with God.”
If you are a believer, the greatest compliment you could receive is the recognition that you walked with God. To walk with God means to keep Him at the center of your life in everything you do.
Noah was a man who walked with God at a time when “the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great on the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” (Genesis 6:5) Conditions were so bad that the Lord was sorry He had made man, and, He eventually sent a worldwide flood to destroy everyone except Noah and his family.
Today, we too live in a very sinful world, where evil is prevalent in hearts and minds. There seems to be no hope for mankind. But we can find hope–if we walk with the Lord daily.
The destruction of this world order is coming, “at a time they think not.”
