John 14:3 (NASB) “I go and prepare a place for you. I will come again and receive you to myself, that where I am, there you may be also.”
Why is Jesus coming soon? Because He said so!
His word is filled with signs so we can know the nearness of His coming. Israel just celebrated 71 years as a nation again. His word promised they would be born in a day (Isaiah 66:8). That day happened May 14, 1948. The Lord promised to make Jerusalem a “heavy stone for all peoples” (Zechariah 12:3). Today Jerusalem is at the center of world controversy–not New York, or London, or Paris, but Jerusalem.
The rebirth of Israel is the number one sign of the end times. For almost 2000 years they were not a nation. This sign did not exist. As of May 14, 1948 the sign exists. The countdown began. This generation (the one that sees this sign) will not perish before His coming.
Jesus said, “When these things begin to take place straighten up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” Luke 21:28
