Matthew 9:29 “According to your faith, it will be done to you.”
We usually get what we expect out of life. We tend to see what we expect to see, feel what we expect to feel, act the way we are expected to act, or not act, and achieve what we expect to achieve. Your expectations influence your life much more than you realize.
When you boil it all down, there are two basic approaches to life, and you get the choice. You can choose to live by fear, which is what most do, or you can choose to live by faith. Those are the two choices: faith or fear.
What are you expecting God to do in your life? Do you want Him to stay in a little corner where you can bring Him out, dust Him off, and wear Him on Sunday? Or do you want Him, the God who knows what has happened in the past, what’s happening now, and what your future holds, to live in you and guide you daily. Live by faith in Him and His guidance and you won’t live in fear.
I’m expecting God to use me in many powerful ways to be an example of His righteousness, proclaim His glory to the world, and to live out His love through me. This fulfills His plan for me until He comes again.
Psalm 118:24 “This is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it.”
