Matthew 24:10 “At that time many will fall away and will betray one another and hate one another.”
I Just read a headline that said, “Major Rabbis Unite In Decisive Call For All Jews To Return From Exile: It’s Time.”
The hour is late, and I should expect this falling away I see, but it is hard to watch. The Gregg County Fair just ended last month, and a pastor friend told me about an experience he had. He managed, for one night, a booth their church set up, not to sell anything, but just proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He said they had the opportunity to talk to a number of young people. Most of them were lost–without Christ. But, the most troubling thing was…they didn’t care. Some claimed to be agnostic or atheist. Others said they had no interest at all. Sad. It shows such a lack of concern, not just by these kids/young people, but by whatever parents they have at home.
Time can’t be turned back. It can’t be reclaimed. Talk to your children today. The hour is late. Don’t wait until that last grain of sand drops into the hourglass. In that twinkling of an eye, you won’t have time to explain to your children how important a relationship to Jesus is. It will be too late.
